About Tarot
The Tarot card is a book of symbol, a door-key for reflecting the consciousness of life, leading us to explore the nature of life wisely.

The history of Tarot has different versions but some of the information indicates that Tarot was in human history thousands of years ago and directly related with the occultism named Kabbalah. Kabbalah is a theory pass through by month or mysteriously. The format of Tarot came form an Italian game in 14th century called "Tarocci", and French thus combined it with Kabbalah to make the word "Tarot".

A Tarot deck usually contains 78 cards with drawings, including 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards. Major arcane cards start from 0 to 21 with a title on each while minor arcane cards are divided into 4 suits - wands, cups, swords and pentacles.

Usually, Tarot is being regarded as a form of western way of fortune telling. However, it is far more than that. The Tarot deck comprises cards, which represent archetypal images, whose origins are rooted in European Mysticism. These images usually correspond with your unconscious intent, potential and destiny, and subsequently, you may recognize the value of the guidance contained therein. Tarot can reveal the reason behind a specific situation and the lessons to be learnt. Tarot can also be used to indicate the appropriate direction when facing difficulties and to prevent repeating the unwanted outcomes, and therefore help us to broader our vision to see more choices and make better decisions.

Hong Kong Tarot Centre, therefore, provides seminars and programs of Tarot to help participants stimulate a self-recognition of spiritual life and to learn to have a deep understanding towards body, love and human relationships, in order to explore our inner-self. It assists us to enhance special qualities and potentials in the journey of personal growth. It also helps us to be decisive and understand the real meaning of our ego values.
